The story of Dehobe began in 2016 when a young couple, Helmi and Baker, decided to take their future into their own hands and start a family business. This new beginning required a move to a new environment - from Tampere to the Helsinki metropolitan area.
The first step was to find factories and partners. In the early days, evenings were spent browsing the internet and making contacts around the world. With perseverance, the Helmi Bakers have overcome every obstacle, met packaging entrepreneurs from all over the world and convinced sellers and buyers with their honesty and authenticity. The earliest partners have become close family friends.

Dehobe's dreams for the future are bright and full of enthusiasm. The direction is forward, growing and developing—the team, new products, new customer relationships, in Finland and abroad. Food packaging has rapidly expanded to supplying and tailoring various product packages for those who want to invest not only in the product arriving intact but also in a comprehensive product experience.
We strive to ensure that every choice is a step towards a more sustainable tomorrow. Dehobe aims to increase its customers' awareness of environmentally better packaging options based on facts, honesty, and transparency.
In 2023, our brand's new product family received the Design from Finland mark from the Association for Finnish Work. The product family was awarded for the transparency of its design, responsibility, user-centricity, and, of course, Finnish origin.
